Fort Sanders Tennis Welcomes Trey Ambrose to the Tennis Program
Join us in welcoming Tennis Professional Trey Ambrose, a USPTA – P1 tennis professional with seven years teaching experience and a competitive “open” level player with 4.5 NTRP ranking. Trey recently relocated to Knoxville from Hendersonville, NC where he was the staff professional at Hendersonville Racquet Club.
A native of Greeneville, TN, Trey graduated from Chuckey Doak High School and earned a B.S. in Exercise Science and Minor in Coaching from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. While working on his degree, he taught tennis for the Greene County Tennis Association, Link Hills Country Club, Holston Hills Country Club, and ETSU High Performance Academy.
An active participant in USTA league play, Trey has a passion for teaching all ages and abilities. “We’re pleased that Trey has joined our team and believe his ability to attract players to tennis will be evident in his enthusiasm, energy, and expertise”, says Tennis Manager Carolyn Gentry.
