The Matrix MyRide VX System offers a variety of workouts that range from 20 – 58 minutes in length and there will be a virtual coach in the background/onscreen coaching you through a scenic ride, killer drills, and a variety of challenging workouts.
Participants may also download App.teamicg.com for free which allows access to world-class instruction and chart-quality music any time, any day.
Members are welcome to use the Indoor Cycling Studio for their own workouts as long there is not a scheduled class/training, which are highlighted in yellow on schedule beside door (and on back).
If you are new to Indoor Cycling or have not yet taken a FTW (Functional Threshold Watt/Power) RAMP Test please contact Lori Miracle at HYPERLINK “mailto:lmiracle@covhlth.com” lmiracle@covhlth.com or 865/531-5063 to schedule. The RAMP Test is a tool for Indoor Cyclist to find their Functional Threshold Wattrate, the number that you will input each time you ride, and is generally agreed is the maximal power output that can be sustained for the duration of one hour. FTW is the best single marker for fitness in cycling. If you would like to attempt this test yourself you will find instructions for doing so on counter just inside studio.
